Last night the Alameda City Council voted to not extend SunCal’s exclusive right to Alameda Point. This is the end result of an insular and bullying community outreach style.
Suncal’s style can be seen in the meeting itself, threatening a lawsuit if the results did not turnout its way. Our firm ran the community based campaign against Measure B. Suncal lost that campaign by a lopsided margin because this style.
Was this is right decision by the City Council, only time will tell, but why they made the decision is clear.
