Consultant Richie Ross, no relation, has his candidates suing the president over his education policies. Taking on the president is a good idea in liberal districts and this is a good way to create a storyline. Too often candidates and their consultants run campaigns based on experience or endorsements when what voters really want is a reason to vote for a candidate. The only problem with this tactic, is that by doing it in multiple districts, it looks more than a little contrived.
